Alex Dimopoulos BSc. (SA), M. Chiro. (SA) CCEP DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Alex Dimopoulos graduated from the Durban Institute of Technology (D.I.T), South Africa with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic Sciences in 2002. He and his wife Gaynor, both with strong British roots, left South Africa and after spending a year in sunny Dublin moved to the UK in 2004. Alex then practiced as an Associate at the well respected Chelsea and Fulham Chiropractic Clinic, and the Spiro Chiropractic and Sports Injury Centre, in London, expanding his knowledge and experience in family practice and sports management. Whilst searching for a change of environment to start a family, the opportunity to take over the Romsey Chiropractic Clinic presented itself in 2007, and the chance to move to Hampshire was seized.
Alex has completed various post-graduate studies in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, including the CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner) qualification, but takes a strong interest in managing everyday injuries and strains which result from our stressful modern environment. The arrival of a beautiful baby daughter in 2008, gave Alex first hand experience on promoting maximum comfort during pregnancy, and reaffirmed his belief in the benefit of Chiropractic care in reducing mechanical stress on the pregnant frame.
Having himself suffered whiplash in his early twenties, he understands the discomfort others may be going through when injured, and is an advocate of early intervention and management to achieve the best results. Alex believes that many injuries, aches and pains are preventable, and is passionate about educating patients on postural and lifestyle factors.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry (Natal University 1996), and enjoys reading, and keeping fit by cycling and pretending to run!

Anna Wills – Massage Therapist
Anna Wills is an experienced massage therapist having completed her studies at Totton College, Southampton, in 2004. She is qualified to provide Swedish Full Body Massage and Sports Massage and is an active member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists.
Anna believes that massage and the resultant release of muscular adhesion can be helpful when combined with Chiropractic care, especially for those long-standing injuries that seem to linger! She employs a range of massage techniques which knead and stretch the muscles and its fascia, promoting better muscle fibre alignment and improved circulation.
Anna also works with a professional cycling team which includes some of the top names in British cycling. She was the sports masseuse for the recent Tour of Wessex and also assists marathon runners, ensuring her full support and advice is available throughout all stages, from initial training to the completion of the event.
Anna lives in a converted stable north of Salisbury with her son, a Dalmatian, two guinea pigs and a partially house trained husband! She is also an accomplished pianist, a hobby that remains a pleasure to this day.
"Anna's greatest achievement to date has been to attend the Commonwealth Games 2010 in Delhi, as part of the support staff for Team Guyana"

Stefania Pasquali B. Tech
Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist Pilates Instructor
Stefania moved to the United Kingdom from Italy in 2000. She has a background as a professional dancer and dance instructor and it was this interest in the human body and movement that prompted her to study and gain qualification from the Pilates Institute – London. She then went on to gain a B. Tech. Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage in 2006 from the London School of Sport Massage, and is a member of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage.
This type of massage is a deep tissue manipulation, which helps to realign soft tissue fibres which include muscles, their connective tissue fascia covering and tendons. Many patients find this type of treatment beneficial in complimenting existing Chiropractic treatment, as well as preventing injuries by promoting efficient muscular activity.
Stefania has worked extensively with both private clients and large classes, teaching Pilates, Yoga and core stability classes, in London, Andover and Romsey, and we are very pleased to add her experience and expertise to the Clinic.
Stefania is married and has a beautiful daughter; to relax she enjoys cooking and reading, and described her ultimate passion as shoes!
